MBC

Finally get the chance to do MBC, this is the value to determine after MIC is shown.

Yesterday tried all 9 compounds towards 2 kinds of bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Today, need to put the INT dye to observe the result. I didn’t expect that would have result. I hope I didn’t make any mistakes that showed positive result. MBC done by get 20 ul of suspension from the well to the Mueller-Hinton agar, then use cotton swab to evenly swab it to the space involved. Result will be observed on next Monday. Hopefully got positive result.  1 compound showed MIC value of 1 mg/ml and 500 ug/ml towards Staphylococcus aureus and 2 compounds, which 1 mg/ml for both of the compounds towards Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
